Suzanne (Reed) Schoeppe Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 16 to Feb. 18, 2023.
Suzanne Marie (Reed) Schoeppe passed away on February 5, 2023 at the age of 74, from glioblastoma brain cancer, surrounded by her daughters.

She was born in Saint Joseph, Michigan, daughter of the late Alanson and Virginia Reed.

Suzanne enjoyed fine dining, travel, bridge, wine, gardening, reading, live music, walking, boating, and most of all spending time with her family. Some of her happiest moments were spent boating on Lake Michigan enjoying the many ports there. She was the most loving and supportive Wife and Mother and was always there for her family. She was also a dedicated caregiver, genuine friend, and wonderful sister. She was proud of "her girls" and they are so proud to be hers.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Schoeppe of 53 years, her daughters Michele Schoeppe (Greg Cottrell) and Heather Schoeppe, her brother John Reed and sister Mary (Dennis) Unruh, and predeceased by her brother Lanny W. Reed.

She will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Good Sports of Arlington to support a scholarship in Suzanne's name. Mail checks to Good Sports of Arlington, Inc. c/o Greg Cottrell 2776 S. Arlington Mill Drive #542 Arlington, VA 22206.

I will always miss Suzanne. She was a good wife, mother and friend. I am so sorry for the loss, but I will always have great memories.

Suzanne, I first met you on our First Day on Kindergarten at Eaman School. I knew you all throughout Grade School and we had play dates and visited each others houses. I remember eating dinner at your house. Then off to High School. I did not see you after high school, I was off to Nursing School and did not live in that area where I grew up. I remember you with fondness. It is hard to lose longtime friends. May you Rest in His Peace.
