Suzanne Telakis Obituary
Born May 22, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late James Earl Bergmann and Sara Mae "Sally" Shoup Bergmann.
Sue was a 1966 graduate of Seneca Valley High School, and enjoyed attending and helping organize class reunions.
She graduated from West Virginia University Potomac State College.
She enjoyed coaching Miracle League. Sue loved researching and sharing her family heritage and genealogy. She was the family matriarch, and the glue that held the family together. Above all, Sue treasured the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who affectionately called her "Yia Yia."
Sue is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, Manuel "Mike" Telakis; her children, Angela Telakis Stagnaro (Anthony "Tony" Sr.) and Michael Telakis (Alyssa Cerra); her grandchildren, Anthony "Koni" Jr., Leilani, Melia and Cameron; her sister, Christie Bergmann Hart (James "Jim"); and many nieces and nephews.
TELAKIS - The family of Suzanne Kay "Sue" Telakis, who died Thursday, April 1, 2021, will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday with a celebration of life service to follow at noon at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, with Pastor Reid Moon as celebrant.
Attendees are required to wear facial coverings.
The family suggests in lieu of flowers that memorial donations be made to Genesis of Pittsburgh where she volunteered many years, 550 California Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15202, or visit www.genesispgh.org.
Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.

Mike and family, We are stunned and totally numb to find out about
Sue's passing. She was such an energetic and happy person, always a pleasure to be around. We considered her to be one of our best friends and loved to visit and go to dinner and movies with her and Mike. We will truly miss her. Love and peace to you all. Joyce and Gary Edmondson
