Suzette Joline Davis, affectionately known to many as "Suzy" of Bloomfield, CT passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at the age of 66. Suzy was born in Hartford, CT to the late Evangelist Edna G. Banks and Minister Vernon G. Davis, Sr.

Suzy attended Hartford Public High School in Hartford, CT. She was a member of Grace & Mercies Ministries in Bloomfield, CT where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior a few years ago. The Lord has sustained her through the trials and tribulations of life. He is faithful and He never left her alone.

She was employed by the United States Post Office on Weston Street in Hartford, CT. Suzy decided to expand her horizons which led her to Oakland, CA where she lived for several years. During her stay there she was employed doing photo engraving. Upon returning to CT, she achieved her CNA license. Suzy retired from Little Sisters of the Poor in Enfield, CT. As a result of her declining health she spent her final days as a resident of the Hebrew Home and Hospital in Bloomfield, CT.

Suzy was very courageous in all her endeavors. Additionally, she was extremely comical.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her only son, John Gregory Palmer, Jr. Her siblings: brother, Gerald L. Davis of Hartford, CT, sister, Tonette Davis-Henriques (Curnal) of Bloomfield, CT, brother, Pastor Philip L. Davis (Michelle) of Windsor, CT, sister, Lisa Banks (Nzechi Julius) of GA, sister, Gerri Ward of Rocky Hill, CT, and sister, Gina Davis of Virginia Beach, VA; sister-in-law, Pastor Jenette Davis of Bloomfield, CT; cousin, Damon McCrary of South Windsor, CT; best friend, Marilyn Logan of VA along with a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Suzy was predeceased by her parents, Evangelist Edna G. Banks and Minister Vernon G. Davis, Sr. in addition to her oldest brother Pastor Vernon G. Davis Jr.

The family of Ms. Suzette Joline Davis thanks you for your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Her service details will be forthcoming.
