Suzette Rene Charleston Martinez, 64, of Fontana, CA, passed away on January 15, 2024, of complications from ALS.
Suzette was preceded in death by her father, Merle Charleston, and brother, Patrick Charleston. She is survived by her mother, Maxine Charleston, her sister, Melinda Barbello, her brother, Danny Charleston, her husband, Antonio Martinez, her 6 children and 4 grandchildren. If you had the pleasure of meeting Suzette, you would know what a special person she was. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend. She was the most amazing mother and nana who loved and cherished her kids and grandkids dearly. Suzette loved music and loved to sing. If you ever went for a car ride with her it was like karaoke hour as she would just sing her heart out and danced like no one was watching. She loved and had a passion for planting. She would be able to tell you every single one of her plants names just by looking at them. Suzette was well known in the community and everybody knew her name as she left a lasting impression on everyone. She was a second mom to a lot of people and was always there with open arms when someone wanted to talk or needed someone to be there for them. Family was the most important thing to Suzette as she loved all of her family very much and they meant the world to her. Her kind heart and beautiful spirit will be missed tremendously!
