Sylvester Benjamin Sims, 24, of Cleveland, Ohio, passed away on April 9, 2023. On October 22, 1998, he was born in Cleveland to Monique M. Clayton and the late Micheal J. Sims. His children will deeply miss Sylvester. Loving father of Malachi M. Allen, Ariah N. Sims, Zy'aire B. Sims, and Ka'mari (Stepson). Dear brother of Robert K. Barnwell, Ann M. Clayton, Diamond Burress, Stephan Burress, Dwight Burress, Kristy Steele, Nadia Sims, Tyiesha Mcfadden, & Callie Dawson. Loving Uncle of Terence Jr., Nyla, Kingston, and Marvin. Missed by Uncles Bernard Clayton, Eric Clayton, Gorge Blake, Cornelius Blake, the late Emmitt Clayton, Billy Blake, & Karmen Kimbrough. Sylvester will be missed by a host of other relatives and friends. Graduated from Brooklyn High School in 2017 and played football with the Cobras & the Nightmare.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, April 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of Homegoing Services at 11:00 a.m., at Slone & Co. Life Celebration Center 3556 W. 130th St. Cleveland, OH 44111, where a repass will be held until 2:00 p.m.
