Sylvia Blackwell Obituary
Sylvia King Blackwell, 87, of Harrisburg, passed away Monday, July 22, 2024 at her residence in Harrisburg, NC.
Mrs. Blackwell was born January 17, 1937 in Charlotte, North Carolina to the late Harmon Joseph King and the late Ethel White King.
She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald William Blackwell and brother, Joe King.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 10:45 am, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Harrisburg. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at the Carolina Memorial Park Harrisburg at 12015 University City Blvd., Charlotte.
Survivors include daughter, Kellie Blackwell-Dayvault of Harrisburg, NC, son, Donald (Chip) William Blackwell of West Jefferson, NC; grandchildren, John Michael Dayvault (Angie), Hannah Marie Dayvault, Savannah Swafford, Dillion Swafford, Joshua William Blackwell (Emily); Also surviving are great-grandchildren, Parker Mundy, Emma Dayvault, Gavin Dayvault, Harper Blackwell and Baby to be!
Memorials may be made to Providence Baptist Church, 5315 State Hwy 49, Harrisburg, NC 28075 or (pbcharrisburg.org)
