Sylvia Carolyn (Carol) Hoadley:
Was born September 24,1935 to Helmi Mary and Walter David Niemi in Duluth MN. With family at her side, she passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025 at the age of 89 at the Dove Health Care facility in Superior WI.
The family moved from Oulu to superior, where she graduated from Superior Central High in 1953. In 1962 she married the love of her life Calvin Hoadley and started a family. Throughout her life the two things closest to her heart were her family and her Faith in her loving God Jehovah. She was a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses until her death.
She is survived by her 2 sons Joseph (Joann) Hoadley of Poplar WI and Jonathan (Lisa) Hoadley of east Bethel Minnesota and the many children and grandchildren she loved and was so proud of.
She was preceded in death By Her mother, father, and sister Marian as well as her Husband Calvin who passed in December 2004
A service will be held on February 22. 2025 at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel / Cremation Society of Duluth MN located at 4100 Grand Avenue Duluth MN. Visitation at 2:00 and a memorial service at 3:00.
