My family used to live across the street from Ms. Sylvia. Me and my mom always got our hair cut there when I was a little girl. She was a sweet lady. I remember when we moved to a house in Eden Wood many years ago that Ms. Sylvia ended up with our cat Sammy. Every time we took him to the new house he would always end up back on Elm Street, so Ms. Sylvia just kept him and he lived with her until he passed. What a very sweet example of how kindness is never forgotten.
