Sylvia was born on July 27, 1938 to John R. Snook Sr. and Ethel Beatrice Kizziah in Pasadena, TX. As an adult Sylvia was very active with The Central Texas College Retirees. She loved to garden and plant flowers. Sylvia loved her family and extended family. She enjoyed baking and especially at Christmas.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred "Fred" Reese; her parents, John Snook and Ethel Kizziah; her brother, Eddie Snook; her brother and sister of the heart, Bernadatte and William Kincaid.
She is survived by her daughters, Kathy "Grace" Reese, Karen Bassett (Allen); her grandchildren, Paul-Matthew D. Reese; her great grandson, Tristan and blessed with an extended family.

Mama , my Ladybug , I miss you so much . I talk to you daily , I hope you can hear me . It's been over 2 years and I still want to hear your voice , see your smile and to hear you fuss .. I love you with all my heart Mama . Enjoy your heavenly Christmas with Dad and Meemaw .. keep us close Mama , we will meet again soon . I'm waiting for your hugs and kisses
