**In Loving Memory of Darla Jean (Carr) Reese** Darla Jean (Carr) Reese, age 78, of Coopersburg, PA, formerly of Quakertown and Springtown, PA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at Valley Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Warwick, Rhode Island, Darla was the daughter of the late Willard H. Carr and Pauline (Denomme) Carr. She was a proud graduate of Coventry High School, class of 1964, she was also a graduate of Cosmetology School in Rhode Island, where she earned her license in Cosmetology. Darla dedicated her life to her family and community. She worked as a talented hairdresser in Bucks-Mont areas before becoming a self-employed business owner alongside her husband at Reese's Garden Center and Flowers in New Britain, PA, a venture she passionately managed & owned for more than 25 years. A devoted member of Calvary Church in Souderton, PA. Darla was an active participant in the church, sharing her love of music and faith with others. A woman of many talents and passions, Darla enjoyed golf, skiing, tennis, swimming, and bridge. She was an avid painter and crafter, with an inspiring green thumb that brought her immense joy through gardening and flowers. Her warm, social, and charismatic personality made her a cherished friend and loved one. Darla's legacy lives on through her loving husband of 58 years, Charles "Chuck" S. Reese; her two sons, Gregory "Greg" J. Reese and wife Jennifer of Quakertown, PA, and their lovely daughter Emily and Mark S. Reese of New Tripoli, PA; and his four beloved daughters-Madison, Meghan, Mackenzie, and Macey. She was also preceded in death by her Mother, Pauline (Carr) Brown and her step-father, John P. Brown and older brother Dennis Carr. Private funeral services will be held at the family's convenience. A "Celebration of Life" is scheduled in the later half of July (information via the family). Darla's warmth, kindness, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
