Sylvia Rogers, aged 91, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2025. Born May 11, 1934, in Washington, D.C., Sylvia lived a life full of love, laughter, and generosity that touched everyone she met. She was the devoted wife of the late Daniel Rogers for 38 wonderful years and a loving mother to Nicole (with husband Shawn) and Michael (with partner Carrie). Sylvia was a proud Nana to Allison Jeffries, with whom she shared many special memories. Sylvia was predeceased by her parents, Mr. Frederick and Mrs. Anna Tuttle (Walsh), and her brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Carol Tuttle. She will be dearly missed by her sister and brother-in-law Sheila and Jeremy Freeman. She is also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sylvia had a passion for travel, exploring places like Italy, Iceland, Ireland, Bermuda, and Alaska. Closer to home, she enjoyed bingo nights at the senior center and was an avid mystery reader, often sharing books and donuts with her granddaughter. Known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering love for her family, Sylvia leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Family and friends will honor and celebrate Sylvia's life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home -8800 Harford Road, Parkville MD 21234 for a visitation on Sunday, September 7th, 2025, from 4-7pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, September 8th, 2025, 11am at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church. Interment to conclude all services at Parkwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St Isaac Jogues Catholic Church.
