Sylvia was a good friend and neighbor when I lived on the Narrows Pond Rd. in Winthrop. She and I were walkers, although she was much more dedicated and serious than I was. If we met on a walk, we always chatted, and she had a pat for whichever dog I had on a leash. Sylvia was never afraid to tell the truth or be honest. She was a gem and a treasure. God blessed me with her as a friend and neighbor. The W.U.M.C. has lost a faithful and steadfast member. Her favorite spot in the pew is empty. I will miss you dear friend. Jill
