Sylvia Thoe Obituary
Sylvia "Syl", "Sly" C. Thoe, 77, of Waupaca, passed away at home on Thursday, November 16, 2023 due to an aneurysm. She was born on January 21,1946 in Chicago, moved to Waupaca in 1973 and spent winters in Lake Havasu, AZ after retirement. Sylvia worked at the First National Bank in Waupaca for 32 years.
She leaves behind her loving and caring husband, Richard Thoe, who has been by her side through the ups and downs in life. Syl as quoted "I don't know what I would have done without him". Also left behind is her sister, Norene Wade and children; Erik (Megan) Thoe, their children, Harlin and Evelyn; Heidi Thoe (Jerry Rutherford) and their children, Ian and Ainsley, Amy (Kent Hollrah) and their children: Sam and Lucy; ex-husband: Eddie (Jakubic); brothers-in-law: Larry (Renee) Thoe, Gary (Eileen) Thoe; brother and sister-in-law: Thomas and Sandy Casey. Over the years she made so many friends - "I will miss you all".
Sylvia was preceded in death by her mother: Savera Wade, father: Vito Chuprinskas; sister: Veronica Casey, and stepfather: Paul Wade.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Hitterdahl Lutheran Church in Iola. The Rev. Dale Wilson will officiate. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 9:00 AM -10:45 AM at the church on Tuesday November 21st. A memorial fund has been in Sylvia's name at the Waupaca Humane Society.
The family would like to thank Theda Care Hospice along with Karin, Rhonda and Suzzy for the excellent care provided to Sylvia during her final days.

My condolences to Rick and his family. My Aunt Sylvia will be missed. She will always be remembered as the kindest and most loving aunt I’ve ever known.
