In loving memory of Sylvia Jean White
Sylvia Jean White of Odessa, Texas passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family. A woman of unwavering strength and grace, Sylvia lived a life rooted deeply in her faith in Jesus Christ. We are confident that today she walks in eternity with her Lord, restored and rejoicing.
Sylvia was married to her beloved husband, James Wellington White, for 59 wonderful years. Their marriage was a beautiful example of commitment, tenderness, and steadfast love. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and faith.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, James Wellington White, and her sister, Patsy LaBelle.
She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Charlotte Morgan, and her husband Michael Morgan: and Kristi Allbright and her husband Jeffery Allbright. Sylvia’s family was her greatest joy, and she poure3d her heart into each of them.
Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by: Collin Allbright and his wife Heather Allbright, and their children Zoie Allbright, Mya Allbright, Brooklyn Allbright, and Dallas Allbright, Aryn Goetsch and her husband Logan Goetsch, and their children Henry Goetsch and Lainey Goetsch, Harrison Allbright, Lori Morgan, Wesley Morgan and his wife Sara Morgan, and their son Malachi Morgan.
Slyvia was a loving and devoted grandmother who treasured every moment spent with her family. Whether through gentle encouragement, warm embraces, or heartfelt prayers, she made each person feel deeply known and unconditionally loved. She was also a faithful friend, offering kindness, wisdom, and comfort to those blessed to know her.
Her life was a testimony to faith, perseverance, and enduring love. Though she will be profoundly missed, her family finds peace in knowing she is whole again, walking in the presence of Jesus Christ, the One she trusted all her days.
Sylvia Jean White’s love will live on in the hearts of her family for generations to come.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2026, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Clydel Chapman officiating.
