MS. TA'MARA DESA'RAY STEPHENS was called home on January 1, 2026. She was born in
Augusta, Georgia, on November 28, 1993, to her loving parents, Richard Andrews and Deborah Stephens. A proud graduate of Thomson High School, Ta'Mara pursued higher education with dedication and purpose, earning an Associate of Applied Science in Health Information Technology from Darton State College and an Associate of Applied Science in Radiologic Technology from Albany State University.
She built a rewarding career as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, most recently serving with excellence at Medical Imaging of Fredericksburg. Ta'Mara also worked as a traveling CT Technologist, bringing her skill, compassion, and professionalism to patients and colleagues in multiple locations. She brought love, laughter, and light to everyone fortunate enough to know her, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and cherished memories that her family and friends will treasure forever.
Ta'Mara was a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose generosity, compassion, and radiant spirit touched countless lives. She had a zest for life-whether traveling to new destinations, enjoying relaxing beach trips, exploring different genres of music, or trying new experiences. She poured her heart into everything she loved. She was always eager to help others, offering guidance, encouragement, and a listening ear whenever it was needed. Ta'Mara's joy for life was contagious, and her love, humor, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Ta'Mara is survived by her sisters, Dondriell Stephens and La'Sheena Stephens; her brothers, Howard Stephens, Pedro Neal, Reginald Johnson, Danta Stephens (Dewayna Stephens), and Richard Andrews (Crystal Andrews); and her cherished nieces and nephews: Da'Kwan Brown, Harlem Moss, Yasir Moss, Tatiyana Neal, Kameron Andrews, Richard Andrews, Jasmin Andrews, Reginald Johnson Jr., Dantez Stephens, Dantavian Stephens, Dana Stephens, Datan Stephens, A'Kyiah Stephens, Jordan Johnson, and Devin Climons, including Janti Brown, with whom she shared a special bond. She also leaves behind great-niece and great-nephew, Deveah and Aiden.
Ta'Mara is deeply cherished and lovingly remembered by her special loved one, Adrian, and by many close friends who loved her as family and will carry her memory in their hearts forever. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Andrews and Deborah Stephens, who welcomed her into eternal rest. Though we mourn her earthly absence, we rejoice in knowing that Ta'Mara is at peace, surrounded by heavenly grace and everlasting love.
