Tabatha Cox was born on October 24, 1967 in Paterson, New Jersey to Doris Cox and Arthur Duntson.
She was educated in the Paterson Public School system and she also attended East Side High School. Tabatha was employed as a line server at a gourmet diner, and as a day care worker at Miss Dot's Small World of Paterson, New Jersey.
Tabatha was a member of Bethel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of Pastor Allen Boyer.
Tabatha loved her family and she had great love for children, music, playing cards and she almost never missed a day to play her number. She was a loving person who never liked conflict or anything that didn't end with a smile on her face.
Tabatha was preceded in death by her daughter; Quaney Cox, her parents; Doris Cox and Arthur Duntson, and sister; Priscilla Sellers.
Tabatha Cox departed this life on Thursday, December 14, 2023.
Left to cherish precious memories are her daughter; Trenay Cox, two grandchildren who she loved more than anything in this world; London Johnson and Aiden Johnson of Paterson, New Jersey, her long time friend of 20 years; Ed Robinson of Paterson, New Jersey, siblings; Rodney Cox, Troy Cox, Dexter Cox, Marvin Cox, Theresa Cox, Shirley Cox, Ruby Cox, and Treva Cox, her favorite niece; Nakiaya (Donald) Hill, favorite nephew; Janard Cox, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
