Georganna Ciccone, a beacon of kindness and generosity, was called to her eternal home on August 3, 2025, at the age of 85.

Born on May 24, 1940, in Newark, NJ, she lived a life marked by faith, love, and devotion to her family. Georganna, affectionately known by her given name, was a woman whose life was a testament to the virtues she held dear. Georganna's journey began as a bright-eyed student at East Side High School, where she cultivated a foundation of knowledge and lifelong friendships. Her path led her to embrace the role of a homemaker, a vocation she performed with unparalleled grace and dedication. Her hands were rarely still, as she poured love into every meal she cooked and every life she touched. In her sacred union with her beloved husband, Peter Ciccone, now deceased, she found a partnership that was steeped in Catholic faith and mutual respect. Together they raised a family that became Georganna's pride and joy.

Her son, Peter Ciccone, along with Michael & Laura Ciccone, her son and daughter-in-law, all bear the fruits of her nurturing spirit. The void left by the loss of her son Anthony Ciccone is a testament to the depth of love she had for all her children.Georganna's legacy continued to flourish through her cherished grandchildren, Amanda Pecina & husband Lance, Alexis, Peter, Madison, Anthony, and Lauren Ciccone. Her great-granddaughter, Elliana Pecina, added another layer of joy to her life. Each of them was a precious gem in the crown of her matriarchal love.Georganna's interests extended beyond the walls of her home.

She was an avid fan of baseball and tennis, following each match with enthusiasm and spirited commentary. Her passion for these sports was just one of the many ways she connected with her family and friends, sharing in the highs and lows of every game.As we bid farewell to Georganna Ciccone, we do so with hearts full of gratitude for the time we were blessed to share with her. We find solace in the knowledge that she has been welcomed into the arms of her Savior, where she will rest in peace and joy for eternity. Her memory will live on as a guiding light, a reminder of the profound impact one life, lived with love and faith, can have on the world.

We celebrate Georganna's life and the immeasurable love she bestowed upon us. Her spirit will forever be woven into the fabric of our family's story, and her lessons of kindness and generosity will continue to resonate through generations. As she joins the heavenly chorus, we take comfort in knowing that her love will always surround us, as enduring as the stars above.
