Tabitha R. Schultz, 41, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 11, 2025. She was the beloved mother Hannah E. Schultz (fiancé, Timothy Suwityarat). Born in Newport, Tabitha was the daughter of the late Gwendolyn Schultz and Dennis Sapp, and the cherished stepdaughter of Joseph O'Brien. In addition to her daughter, she is survived by her sister, Tia Schultz, her niece Shelby Sapp and by her best friend in the world, Claire Richards. She was predeceased by her brother, Zachary Schultz.
Tabitha was known for her warmth and especially her talent as a baker. She pursued her passion for the culinary arts at Johnson & Wales University in Rhode Island. Her loved ones will remember her fondness for gnomes and Winnie-the-Pooh, reminders of the gentle spirit she brought into their lives.
One of the most enduring relations in Tabitha's life was her friendship with Claire Richards, her best friend and chosen sister. Their bond was a constant source of laughter, strength, and unwavering support. It was an example of lifelong friendship that touched everyone who knew them both.
Above all, Tabitha loved and treasured her family who will all miss her dearly.
A celebration of life will be celebrated at a later date,
In lieu of flowers, donations in Tabitha's memory may be made to the Brain Association of Rhode Island, 1029 Waterman Ave., East Providence, RI 02914.

It´s hard to believe ill never get the text saying " hey call me when you can" or " i have a quick question" or the crazy funny shirt orders Tabitha gave so much of herself to others her time, her kindness, her laughter without asking for anything in return. Her sense of humor and her love was deep and generous. It breaks my heart I only wish the world and people in it had treated her with the same kindness and time she gave. But I hope she knew how deeply she was loved, and appreciated and how much she will be missed. May her beautiful spirit finally rest, surrounded by the peace and recognition she gave to so many with no more pain.
