Tahlena Nicole Snodgrass 44 of New Tazewell, Tn passed away peacefully at her home on October 11, 2025. She was a cherished daughter, mother, nana, and friend. She will be deeply missed.
Tahlena was born on October 24, 1980, to Milford and Sylvia Snodgrass. She was a lifelong resident of Tazewell having graduated from Claiborne County High School. Baptized at an early age she was a member of Walden's Ridge Baptist Church. Tahlena enjoyed life and had a loving spirit that brightened the lives of all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her father, Milford Snodgrass. Grandparents: Iva Jean and Clarence (CL) Goins, Harvey and Patti Snodgrass. Aunts: Sandra Goins, Jennifer Goins, and Carolyn Sue Snodgrass. Uncles: Welzie, James, Tex, Bruce, Bryant, and Elijah Snodgrass.
Tahlena leaves to mourn her passing: Mother, Sylvia Snodgrass; Brother: Todd Goins; Daughter: McKalie (AJ) Snodgrass; Sons: Ethan and Joshua (Krista)Snodgrass. Granddaughter: Olivia Snodgrass. Great Aunt: Shirley Ann Snodgrass. Aunts: Belinda Faye Yeary (Tazewell), Anna L. Kyle (Dayton, OH) Uncle: Jerry (Pearl) Goins Oak Ridge, TN. Faithful Canine Companion: Marley. Life-Long Friend: Penny Wilson. She also leaves many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

The family will receive friends Thursday October 16, 2025, from 6:00pm till 7:00pm with a celebration of life to follow at 7:00pm in the Claiborne~ Overholt Funeral Home Chapel with Eddie Overholt officiating. Music will be provided by Elizabeth Buis. She will be laid to rest in the Goins Cemetery.
