Talen Jackson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Talen Antonio Jackson, a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend. Talen was born on March 30, 2001, in Pittsburgh, PA, and left this world far too soon on December 18, 2025, at the age of 24. He was a bright light in our lives, known for his infectious laughter and a sense of humor that had a remarkable ability to lift the spirits of everyone around him.

Talen is mourned by his devoted mother, Desiree Jackson-Myers, and his father, Randy Ward. He was a cherished brother to Sade, Bianca, Sole, Brielle, and Bobby. He will be missed by his grandmother/ Mom/ Nene, Sharon Nesbitt, grandfather Dave Nesbitt, grandfather Robert (Cindy) Jackson, as well as Kim Kay, the late Loretta Olar Myers and late William Myers. He was a beloved great-grandson of Valerie (late Anthony) Ippolito and a caring nephew to Dave (Becca) Spatholt, Alex (Rachel) Nesbitt, Katie Nesbitt, favorite Aunt Maggie Uncle (Brad) Greenberg, and Corey (Jackie) Ruson. He was a caring godson to Kristen Ray and late Robert Jackson whom was his best bud and godfather whom he missed dearly! Talen shared a loving bond with his girlfriend Amya Mercer; whom he was expecting a son with this coming February, His exuberant passion about entering fatherhood was touching and may the wishes he had for their futures be guided by God's grace. Talen is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins and will forever hold a special place in the hearts of his family, and his memory will live on through stories filled with love and laughter.

Talen had a passion for music that resonated deeply within him, he was an avid listener of all genres and found joy in making music and playing his guitar. His love for world history fueled countless conversations, as he eagerly shared the developments of other countries with friends and family. Above all, Talen cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, delighting in family gatherings and the warmth of togetherness.

In honor of Talen's life and the love he spread, his family will hold services at a later date in Pittsburgh, where friends and family will gather to celebrate the remarkable individual, he was. As we reflect on Talen's life, we will hold dear the memories, laughter, and love that he so generously shared with everyone who knew him. He will forever remain in our hearts, and his spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the love we share.
