Tamara Lynn "Tammy" Bentman

Indianapolis - Tamara Lynn "Tammy" Bentman, 47, passed away Monday, July 11, 2022. She was born March 7, 1975 in Greensburg, IN to Patrick McFarland and the late Sandra Jacobson McFarland. She graduated from Franklin Central High School in 1993 and from Indian River Community College in 2001 where she earned her bachelor's degree in Pre-Law. Tammy was employed by Norris, Choplin & Schoeder where she served as a legal assistant. She enjoyed coloring and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, Sandra Jacobson McFarland. She is survived by her beloved husband, Barry Bentman; daughter, Hailey Bentman; father, Patrick McFarland; brother, Shawn McFarland; and many other loving family members and dear friends.
Tammy's family will receive friends Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 11 am – 1 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46227. A celebration of her life will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Christina Barley officiating.
