Tamara Bjorkman was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Veda Goodrich and Frank LeGrande Smith. She was the 5th of six children.
Tammy's life revolved around her family and being a devoted wife and mother. She was an outstanding cook and baker, as well as a gifted homemaker. People always remembered and asked for her countless delicious recipes. Her decorating and design skills were incredible, and her home was a place of comfort, pure love, and support. She was also talented at many arts and crafts, including cross stitch, sewing, doll making, and holiday decorations.
Tammy was selfless and the pure essence of unconditional love. She worked a variety of jobs and provided friendship and help to anyone in need. She somehow managed to do it all, sharing her beautiful smile and sparkling blue eyes all the while.
Tammy was a lover of all animals, the deer being her favorite, for their gentleness and innocence. She enjoyed hiking and camping and enjoying wildflowers, her most favorite. Tammy had a strong connection to the Moon and the beauty of nature on this gift of planet Earth.
Tammy is survived by the love of her life, David Bjorkman, her daughter, Candice Bjorkman Jenkins, her youngest son, Levi George Bjorkman, whom she shared a birthday with, and her granddaughter, Hanna Grace Bjorkman. Her eldest son, Justin Swen Bjorkman, passed away on June 25th, 2007.
Funeral services are being held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at Russon Mortuary, 295 North Main, Bountiful, Utah, where viewings will be held Monday the 18th from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. as well as Tuesday the 19th from 8:45 to 9:30 a.m. prior to services.Interment will be at Bountiful City cemetery.
Attendees are asked to wear blue in honor of Tammy's favorite color.
