Obituary
Tamara Lynn (Eads) Brazell
June 29, 1960 - January 17, 2023
Tamara Lynn (Tamy) Brazell passed from this life into the next on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 surrounded by members of her family. Tamy fought a brave battle with blood and bone cancer for several years. She had a stem cell transplant in May of 2022. The transplant successfully treated the cancer, but the aftereffects of the surgery ultimately proved to be too much for her weary body.
Tamy was born in
Ardmore, Oklahoma on June 29, 1960. She was the third and youngest daughter of Ira Lee and Peggy Jo (Johnson) Eads. She joined sisters Terisa and Debbie. Soon after the family relocated to
Clovis, New Mexico where Tamy attended school. As a child, Tamy loved making up plays, pranks, and jokes. This continued throughout her life. You never knew when you might wake up to your yard full of plastic pink flamingos, your car being Saran wrapped, or an impromptu luau taking place! As a young girl, Tamy enjoyed playing girls softball, swimming, and dance. In school, she excelled in band and received many awards for her ability to play the flute.
After high school, Tamy pursued a career in nursing. She also enjoyed her work as an EMT, but the role she loved the most was being a mom. She was blessed with five wonderful children that she was always so proud of and loved with all her heart: Jeffery, Tara, Lisbeth, Dina, and Ada.
Tamy will be remembered as an extremely loving and sensitive woman. She loved her family, church, children, and pets. Her heart was tender and kind, and she would do anything for anyone. She was crafty, creative, talented, fun, and very funny! She was always the life (and entertainment) of the party. She leaves a big empty hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Tamy was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Skyler Pickett, niece, Mindy Brown and nephew, Clay Brown.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Brazell; son, Jeffery Brown (Elizabeth Shell) of Oklahoma; daughters: Tara Duffy (John Hiser) of
Thermopolis, Wyoming, Lizbeth Pickett of
Wichita Falls, Texas; Dina, Ada Mae; stepdaughter, Melissa Lasage of Michigan; grandchildren: Jonathan, Lucas, Ava, Makenzie, Samuel, Haiden, Ethan, Alexis, Marianna; five step-grandchildren; sisters: Terisa (Jay) Brown of Worland, Debra (Bill) Evans of
Deland, Florida; half-sisters: Linda Lorance of
Tulsa, Oklahoma and Leanne Stout of Ohio; numerous nieces, nephews and their children, as well as several cousins, aunts, uncles and many dear friends.
Memorial services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 6, 2023, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center with Bishop David Page officiating. Memorial donations can be made to Bryant Funeral Home to assist with costs and sent to PO Box 524,
Worland, WY 82401. Online condolences may be made at www.bryantfuneralhomeonline.com.
