Tamara Sue Wilcher-Martinez, 64, passed away after struggling with multiple illnesses for the past few years on December 10th in Tahlequah.
Born & raised in and around Ponca city, she spent most of her adult years in Oklahoma city. Tammy loved playing bingo with friends, calling out a last game in the ICU before she passed.
Known by many names, Tammy Sue, Mama, aunt Sue, her favorite was probably Gramma. She was called that by her grandchildren Gabriel, Jacob, Isabel and Orion, as well as her many great nieces and nephews. Along with her grandkids Tammy is also survived by her daughter, Amanda Nelson, sister Vickie Bennett, brothers Gary, Robbie and Kenny Wilcher, numerous nieces, nephews and greats, and honorary sisters Carol Smith and Sandy Jett. Tammy was preceded in death and met by her mother Phyllis Louise Studyvin and sister Phyllis Jean Cody in the after.
