Tammy Bertram

Tammy Bertram, 67, passed away, Sunday, June 15, 2025, at Pine Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Winchester, IN. Tammy was born May 14, 1958, to the late Dallas Auker and Roberta (Hancock) Scheel in Portland, IN. Tammy enjoyed retirement, watching Dale Earnhart Sr., Nascar, Elvis Presley, Colts football and crime TV shows. Tammy is survived by her mother Roberta Scheel of Ridgeville, stepmother Mary Jane Auker of Winchester, two sons Josh Bertram of Winchester, Joseph Bertram (Alyssa) of Farmland, five grandchildren: Devon Bertram, Gabe Bertram, Gracie Bertram, Joely Bertram and Rileigh Bertram. She is also survived by siblings, Darla (Jerry) VanNote, Bob (Kathy) Auker, Lorri Delk, Bill (Marie) Auker, Tony Scheel, Marion (Penny) Auker, Dallas (Jeannie) Auker, Dalton (Rhonda) Auker, Christy (Shaun) Shannon, Julie (Jeff) Shockney, and several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and her special fur baby Cooper. Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Auker, grandmother, Jeanette Stump, grandmother, Betty Hancock, grandfather, Claude Hancock, and a grandson, Michael Joseph Bertram. Visitation will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 11 am - 12 pm at Calvary Church in Ridgeville, IN. A celebration of life service will follow at 12 pm with Pastor Jonathan Edwards officiating. Tammy will be buried at a later date. A special thank you to the staff and nurses of Pine Knoll Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their compassion and care throughout Tammy's stay.
