Tammy Jo Bryand, age 55, of Albert Lea, Minnesota passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025 at Mayo Clinic Rochester – St. Mary’s Campus, surrounded by her loving family.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14 at 11:00 AM until a brief Time of Sharing at 12:30 PM at Bonnerup Funeral and Cremation Services in Albert Lea. Interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Albert Lea.
Tammy was born to Harold and Kathleen (Harkner) Brandt on December 12, 1969, in Albert Lea, Minnesota. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1988. One fateful night while hanging out with friends, Tammy was introduced to John Bryand Jr. The two become almost inseparable from that day forward.
Tammy was a meticulous collector and organizer. Because of this, she enjoyed selling things on bidding pages and yard sales. She took great pride in putting together garage sales, often helping her friends and family sell items they had little luck in selling themselves.
Tammy loved music, especially 1980’s country. She enjoyed completing jigsaw puzzles and playing bingo. In her spare time, she would crochet hats for the Ministries of Project Happiness, or scarves for herself, her daughter, and friends.
Most of all, Tammy was an incredible mother, sister, and friend who will be missed by so many.
Tammy is survived by her husband of 29 years, John Bryand Jr; children Anthony (Jamie) Brandt, Jesse Bryand, Jordan Bryand, Paris Bryand and step-daughter Mariah Bryand; grandchildren Zayden, Alexis, Dezi, Emersyn, Ariella, and step-grandchildren Christina and Noriah; sister Tracy (Michael) Nelson; niece Ariel and nephew Colton; mother-in-law Shari Staude; and her beloved chiweenie Riley.
Tammy was preceded by her parents Harold and Kathleen; brother Dale; nephew Tyler; step-father Raymond Sickles, and step-father-in-law Dwain Staude.
Memorial donations in honor of Tammy’s life to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 are appreciated.
