Tammy Irene Cheney, born on September 28, 1963, in Whitley County, IN, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, in Edwardsburg, Michigan, surrounded by her beloved family and pets.

Tammy found joy in the simplest of pleasures. She was an animal lover, cherishing her three furry companions, Charlie, Natty, and Skittles, who provided her with companionship and warmth throughout her life. Tammy's nurturing nature was evident as she dedicated herself to taking care of others, finding fulfillment in cooking and ensuring those around her felt loved and supported. In moments of leisure, she delighted in watching wrestling.

She leaves behind a devoted family, including her three daughters, Crystal (Jason) Cowan, Wendy Cheney, and Sabrina Petersen. Tammy's legacy will continue through her ten grandchildren, Jeremy, Devin, Elizabeth, Joseph, Aidyn, Kaytlynn, Jaidyn, James, Kaylee, and Breanna, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Iris (Evans) Cheney, her sister, Dawn Davis, and her very special aunt, Nellie Evans. Their memories will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

As we remember Tammy Cheney, we celebrate a life lived with love and compassion, and a spirit that will remain in the lives of her family and friends, enriched by the laughter and love she shared.
