Tammy Johnson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Morrison Payne Funeral Home & Crematory on Feb. 26, 2026.
It is with great sadness I must announce that Tammy Lynn Johnson passed away at 51 years of age on January, 26, 2026 at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. Tammy was born in Hayward, California. She moved to Rupert, Idaho from Fremont, California seven years ago. She fell in love with the country atmosphere in Southern Idaho. She also absolutely loved the farmhouse that her and her mother purchased.

She is proceeded in death by both of her parents, Charles William Johnson and Barbara Georgette Johnson. She is survived by her aunt Sandie Shoemaker, her uncle E. Slim Shoemaker and her aunt Shirley Gibson along with several cousins and some second cousins. Also she was an organ donor and donated her heart, lungs, kidneys and liver. She was able to give the gift of life to the strangers that received her organs. This was an absolute generous act on her part.

Tammy attended Fremont Beauty College to get her license as an aesthetician. She loved everything having to do with the beauty industry. Hair coloring was her specialty.

Tammy will be greatly missed and always in our loving memory as a kind hearted woman, an animal lover and someone who truly cared about others. This is evident in fact that she dedicated her entire life to her mother until she passed in 2024.

Please keep Tammy's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

With love, Kelly Ann Dubose
