Tammy Marie Jones (Pubanz), age 61, of Warner Robins, Georgia, passed away peacefully on September 7, 2025. Tammy was born on July 31, 1964, to Ernest R. Pubanz and Betty Pubanz (Newberry). A lifelong learner and curious spirit, Tammy found joy in the little things-crossword puzzles, trivia, game shows, and playing card games with friends and family. She especially cherished the time spent helping her grandchildren with their homework, always encouraging them to ask questions and seek knowledge. Tammy was preceded in death by her beloved father, Ernest R. Pubanz, and brother Craig Pubanz. Left to cherish her memory are her devoted mother, Betty Pubanz (Newberry); her loving children, Drew Jones and Mandi Jones; her treasured grandchildren, Lexi Anne Ellis and Grayson Jones; her sister, Tina Carter; her brother, Ed Pubanz; her cousin, Melissa Ammons (Jeremy); her sister-in-law, Lisa Pubanz McDearmid (Mike); as well as several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews who will forever remember her warmth, wit, and generosity. A service to honor Tammy's life will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel, with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Pastor Dennis Clark and Pastor Randell Nash will officiate. Tammy's legacy of love, laughter, and learning will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Tammy, please visit our floral store.
