Tammy Keng Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Veilleux Redington Lawry Brothers Funeral Home on Nov. 19, 2025.
Fairfield, Maine - Tammy T. Keng (Zi-Yu Keng), 56, passed away unexpectedly at her home, leaving her family and friends heartbroken by her sudden loss. She was born on July 26, 1969, in Taipei, Taiwan, where she spent her early years before beginning a life filled with creativity, love, and adventure.

Tammy married the love of her life, Sonny, and raised their son Matthew in California. In the midst of their hardworking and successful business, Tammy had to drop everything off and rush back to Taiwan to take care of her Alzheimer mother and old father for years. During her absence in California her husband passed away in home when Matthew was only 5 years. Having passion along with her dream Tammy moved with Matthew to Maine to embrace her new surroundings, finding inspiration in the beauty of the world around her.

Blessed with an imaginative and artistic spirit, Tammy studied interior design and went on to express her creativity in many forms. For years she designed unique jewelry pieces, each infused with her eye for detail and her love for artistic expression. She found peace and joy in visiting the ocean, collecting stones, and bringing beauty to life through watercolor painting. Tammy also carried a lifelong dream of becoming an astronaut-a testament to her sense of wonder, her imagination, and her belief in infinite possibilities.

Tammy is survived by her son, Matthew; her Christian brother, Paul; and her dear friend, Maureen. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Sonny.

Tammy will be remembered for her artistic soul, her gentle heart, and the quiet strength she carried throughout her life. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love, creativity, and dreams that reached for the stars.
