Tammy Cannon-Kleist, age 48, of Hopkinsville, KY, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville, TN, of natural causes. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, January 17, 2025, at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Dale Combs officiating. Burial will follow in Chandlers Chapel in Auburn, KY, at 3:00 PM. Visitation will be at the funeral home that morning before the service from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home has been entrusted by the family to handle the arrangements.
Tammy was born on May 18, 1976, in Hopkinsville, KY, the daughter of the Larry Cannon and Barbara Murphy Spurlin. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband of 5 years, Scot Kleist of Hopkinsville; her sons, Cody (Chelsea) Slade of Hopkinsville, Kalob Slade of Guthrie, KY; her stepdaughter, Natalie Kleist of Hopkinsville; her brothers, Larry Bradley Cannon of Hopkinsville, Larry Cannon, Jr. of Hopkinsville; her three grandchildren, Michael, Hazel, Ava and one more on the way due in July.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to Highland Volunteer Fire Department.
