Indianapolis – Tammy Lynn Majority-Baxter, 55, passed away peacefully at 8:44 AM on Friday, March 4, 2022 at her residence. She was the loving daughter of the late Wendell Steve and Josephine Irene Showecker. Tammy was born on April 23, 1966 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Tammy took care of everyone and was concerned about the needs and wishes of others before her own. She was selfless, nurturing and had the kindest heart. Tammy was one of kind and her loss is tremendous to all those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Michael Joseph Baxter; her children: Lonnie Michael Majority, Carolyn Rene Khanthasa and her husband, Eakathat, Rachel Jo McCroskey and her husband, Thomas and Wendell Steve Majority and his significant other, Holly Childers; her grandchildren: Levi Michael Majority, Jessica Rene Rodriguez, Caitlin Nicole Majority, Jazmin Ladin Khanthasa, Lonniyah Josephine Antionette Washington, Tammiyah Rose Lynn Majority and Thomas Eugene McCroskey III; her siblings, Angela Marie Showecker and Wendell Steve Showecker Jr.; and her pets, Sammy and Gracie.
Tammy's friends may visit from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 925 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.
