She was a mother to me when my own gave up the chance to be, an unexpected gift, a great friend when I needed her most and a protector over my life, guidance in my hardest life decisions. There will never be another like her. She always lovingly called me her daughter of another color and she always made me feel important, cherished and valued. We would laugh on the phone for hours, and cry sometimes too. She always knew she could call me anytime and I´d be there for her as well, ready to pour all my love right back into her. She was most I could have ever wanted within a mother. Thank you beyond words for always giving me what my own biological mother wouldn´t. Inclusion, true love and acceptance above all. Watching you take your last breath will stay with me for life. I saw your message when I left the hospital. Thank you. I´ll love you forever in this lifetime and the next, love you bye...
