Tammy Mae Phillips, age 61 of Marceline, died Sunday, April 21, 2024 at Landmark Hospital in Columbia. Tammy was born on October 19, 1962 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Russell and Evelyn Sue (Kimbal) Gaunt. She married Lanny Phillips on August 24, 1985 at Brookfield and he survives her.
Tammy had worked at Walsworth Publishing for 20 years and later as the office manager at Lake Nehai for 7 years. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Marceline.
She is survived by her husband Lanny Phillips of the home in Marceline, daughters, Jana Gardner of Columbia, Melissa Barnes and Sam Lockwood of Marceline, and Kelsi Hoyt and Matthew of Kearney, son Rusty Phillips and Savannah of Brookfield, sister Sandy Willis of Chillicothe, eight grandchildren, Lennon Barnes, Cash Barnes, June Lockwood, Dane, Lottie and Jolie Phillips, Maddyn and Kamden Hoyt, and mother-in-law Mary Jane and Harold Richard Bartholomew of Salisbury. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Steve Gaunt, father-in-law Ray Phillips and grandparents, Thelma and Rex Kimbal.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Delaney Funeral Home in Marceline. Funeral services will be 11 AM Thursday, April 25, 2024 at the funeral home in Marceline with burial in Locke Cemetery south of Marceline. Memorials may be mailed to Saving Every Victim or Marceline Eagles Auxiliary and mailed to 1720 N Missouri Ave., Marceline, MO 64658.
