Tammy M. Powers, age 52, passed away the morning of Wednesday, September 17, 2025, with her family at her side. She was the beloved companion of the late John Coyle to whom she shared over 20 years of friendship and love prior to his passing in 2019. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Stephen J. and Dolores A. (White) Powers.

Family was everything to Tammy and she considered everyone to be her family. She had a loveable and caring way about her that was so authentic it drew everyone to her when she walked into a room. She loved to make everyone laugh no matter the situation and was often the life of the party when everyone was gathered together. She loved cooking, Bingo, and country music, but above all else, what made her most happy was spending time with her grandchildren. She will be missed by all those who had the privilege to know and love her.

Tammy was the devoted mother of Timothy McCormack, Samantha Powers, Frankie Rogers and Irene King and the cherished 'Nana' to many loved grandchildren. She was a sister of Wanda Desmarais, Dawn Parker, Crystal Powers, Stephen Powers Jr., and the late Shannon Powers. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 9am-12pm with a Funeral Ceremony at 12pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. She will be laid to rest in the family plot in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association, 1 State Street, Suite 200

Providence, RI 02908 will be greatly appreciated.
