Henderson, TN: Tammy Renee Rowland Pusser age 58, passed away May 20, 2024, at her home.
She was born June 9, 1965, in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late Alfas Dale and Jessie Jeanette Austin Rowland. She grew up and attended schools in Jackson.
She enjoyed baking and decorating cakes and worked for Shirley’s Bakery in Jackson for many years and also at Market Place in Jackson as a cake decorator.
She enjoyed camping, going to the lake, sunbathing and being outdoors. She was always willing to help others.
She attended Gospel for the World Tabernacle Church in Jackson.
Her favorite past time was spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Ms. Pusser is survived by a son, Dustin Bray of Beech Bluff and four grandchildren, Hadley Bray, Kylie Bray, Destin Bray and Chandler Bray and two great grandchildren, Winslet Wilson and Elliot Wilson; a caregiver James Stanford of Henderson; three sisters, Mary Marie Douglas (Steve) of Finger, Diane Wilson (William) of Jackson and Jodie Flatt (John Turner) of Parsons.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Lonnie & Vonnie Rowland, Dale Rowland, Donald Rowland and Terry Rowland and two sisters, Judy Hill and Susie Rogers.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, at Shackelford Funeral Directors – Crook Avenue with Pastor Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Pisgah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Crook Avenue 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday and 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday.
