Tammy Strocher Obituary
Champaign - Tammy Renee Strocher, 53, of Champaign, formally of Decatur, passed on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.
A private service to celebrate Tammy's life will be held at a later date.
Memorials can be made out to the Champaign County Animal Clinic or the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation. Tanzyus Logan Funeral Service and Care is assisting with arrangements.
Tammy was born in March of 1972 in Decatur, daughter of David and Patricia Strocher. She graduated from Niantic High School before attending Western Illinois University. Anyone who knew Tammy knew she loved reading and writing short stories, shopping, playing cards and spending time with loved ones and friends. She will be greatly missed by her friends, family and coworkers.
She is survived by a brother, David Strocher of Decatur; nephews, Dustin Toberman (Alesha) of Atwood and Dale Toberman (Jessica) of Decatur; and niece Niki Crawley (JC) of Cerro Gordo.
Tammy was preceded in death by her father, David Strocher Sr.; mother Patrica Strocher; and brother Tim Strocher.
