Tammy C. Ware

A celebration of life for Tammy C. Ware, 59, of Anniston, will be held, Friday, July 25, 2025, at 2:00pm at Mount Liberty Baptist Church in Anniston. Interment will be in Mount Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. A public viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, from 3pm-7pm at the funeral home. Professional services entrusted to S.M. Goodson Funeral Home-Anniston. Miss Tammy C. Ware, the precious daughter of Lottie M. Ware and the late George Thomas, graced this world with her presence on May 22, 1966, in Anniston, Alabama. Tammy was no stranger to the Lord. Her profound faith was the foundation and driving force in her life and her strong spiritual connection was revealed in her fervent prayers. Tammy was a prayer warrior who touched countless lives with her kindness and compassion. She was a member of Mount Liberty Baptist Church where her faith and belief were continuously strengthened and reinforced. She was deeply committed to her church and served diligently as a Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and a former member of the Matron Ministry. Tammy received her education in the Anniston City School System graduating from Anniston High School in 1984. After high school, she pursued higher learning and obtained a bachelor's degree. Tammy eventually embarked on a rewarding career as a case worker at the law firm of Pitts & Zanaty, L.L.C. where her compassion and strong voice made a tangible difference in the lives of those she served. Tammy was a devoted mother to her only son, Malcolm who was the center of her world. She poured unwavering love and support into every moment they shared, embodying the essence of what it means to be a dedicated mom. She was not just Malcolm's mother; she was his biggest cheerleader and confidant. Tammy, a sweet soul who never met a stranger, had a sparkling personality that made her impossible to ignore. You would hear her before you saw her. Her genuine spirit and generous heart knew no bounds. Tammy lived a simple life. Although she was a shopaholic, she enjoyed watching a good movie at home or entertaining and connecting with family and friends. Her home was a sanctuary of joy and love. On Friday, July 18, 2025, Tammy heard the Master say well done and peacefully rose to her reward of everlasting life. She was preceded in death by her father, George Thomas, stepfather, Robert L. Ware, beloved aunt, Cassandra Orr, and grandparents, George and Sadie Bolton. Tammy's treasured memories will forever be cherished by her son who was her pride and joy, Malcolm Edmondson; mother, Lottie M. Ware; sisters, Claudette Streeter, Brenda (Milton) Elston, Sharon Ware, Cynthia Ware, Faith (Ricky) Patterson, and Regina Thomas; nieces, Kimiko, LaTrisha, Alicia, Gabrielle, Tesmia, LaKesha, and Tiffany; nephews, Maurice "Peter", Milton, Jr., and Derrick "DK"; adopted children; Destiny Stoudemire, Natashia Talley, Jacquella West, Safira English-Sims, Ryan Miller, and Elijah Edmondson; sister-friends, Janice Johnson-Simmons, Cecelia Green, Phyllis Hawkins, Tawanna English, Rochelle English, Natasha Johnson, Teresa Glover, and Bonnie Goggins; and a host of other siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. While we mourn her loss, we also take this time to reflect on the joyful moments filled with laughter and love that Tammy brought into our lives.
