Tamyra Sue Northern, 61, Prior Lake, Minnesota passed away along with her brother Mark, Sunday, August 10, 2025, as the result of an automobile accident.
Tamyra Sue Lewis was born in Alpena on January 17, 1964, to Jerry and Ethelene (Dove) Lewis. Tamyra lived in Prior Lake, Minnesota in a wonderful golf course community with her soulmate and love of her life, her husband James. They are surrounded by family and wonderful friends there who will miss her greatly. Tamyra was a wonderful Marketing and Events Specialist that had over 30 years of professional experience running major events for corporate clients. Tamyra loved to grow herbs and can lots of vegetables with James during the summer season. One of their favorites was canning pickles using her mother's recipe and sharing them with everyone. She had a heart of gold and has left so many positive memories with so many loved ones.
Surviving are her husband, James, her mother, Ethelene; brother, Clark (Amy) Lewis; sister-in-law, Pam Lewis; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Jason) Lipscomb, Wesley (Danielle) Lewis, Brandon Lewis, Justin Lewis, Laura Lewis, Lilly Lewis; great nieces and nephews, Logan, Paige, Bryce, McKenna, Emma; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Tamyra was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lewis, brothers, Dennis Lewis and Mark Lewis.
A joint memorial visitation for Tamyra and Mark will take place at the Bannan Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, from 2 - 8 p.m. and will continue on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at Community of Christ Church – Lachine from 10 a.m. until the time of the joint memorial service at 11 a.m. with Elder Allison Wood officiating.
