Tandy Martin, age 72 of Dayton, Ohio went to be with the Lord on October 30, 2024. He was born March 13, 1952 in Lackey, KY son of the late Fred and Ada (Hall) Martin.
Tandy was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. Tandy was a sports lover and loved all sports. He enjoyed playing baseball, football, and shooting pool. Tandy was a family man and his family was his pride and joy. Tandy and his wife Regina were soul mates and were together for 50 years. He will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
In addition to his parents, Tandy was preceded in death by his wife, Regina (Musick) Martin; sons, Gregory Martin and Billy Philips; daughter, Shannon Humphrey; grandson, Sammie Holliday; great granddaughter, Catalaya Sanchez; brothers, Afton, Frank, and Junior Martin; and sisters, Nancy Gibson and Nadine Woods.
He is survived by his daughter, Tanya (Sam) Holliday; grandchildren, Ashley, Brittany, Matt, Tori, Miranda, and Brean; several great grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 4-5pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio 45424. A memorial service will begin at 5pm at the funeral home.
