Born in sicily as was pino her husband-- they adjusted and flourished in their new culture-they were both good cooks especially sicilian food-picked their olives -brined tehm and flavored their --greek olives with olive oil and garlic-;went to mass together-and what a garden with a myriad of vegetables-even made their own olive oil-pino was in Piemonte and sons of italy lodgher brother had a n italian radio music in s f..-her brother assembled the organ at st ignatius and could play it very well-Pino flew with steve beenito to be his translator in si clia resta in pace dear tanina--tony damiani
