Mr. Tanner Homer Hopkins

With hearts full of sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Tanner Hopkins, who left this world far too soon on November 14, 2025, at the age of 16. Born on February 8, 2009, Tanner blessed our lives with a quiet, gentle spirit and a presence that spoke louder than words ever could.

Tanner was a precious young man defined by his faith, deep curiosity, and determined spirit. He found joy in all things mechanical, from cars and bikes to anything he could disassemble and rebuild. With aspirations of becoming an engineer and a natural entrepreneurial drive, Tanner continually sought to learn more, especially through his passion for computers and technology. He appreciated both the quiet of the outdoors and the creativity of gaming, and he held a special fondness for the '90s era.

He was a proud Clemson football fan and spent time on the field himself, where his teammates affectionately called him "Mango." Whether on the field, in the garage, exploring outdoors, immersed in technology, or simply surrounded by those he loved, Tanner's strength, kindness, and determination left an unforgettable impact on everyone who knew him.

Tanner is deeply loved by his parents, Thomas Joseph Hopkins and Tisha Greenwood Hopkins, and by his brothers, Mason Hopkins and Bryson Hopkins, who will forever hold his memory close.

Tanner's time with us was far too short, but the love he shared, the passions he pursued, and the steady light of his spirit will remain with us always. Tanner is now in the arms of his Creator, held in perfect peace and perfect love.

The family will receive friends from 5:00–7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2025, at Davenport Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, also at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.

Flowers are accepted.
