Tanny Lambeth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Scott Funeral Home - Alvin on Dec. 15, 2025.
Tanny Kay Lambeth, age 72, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 14th, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Alvin, Texas, on August 29th 1953 to T.K. and Dorothy Ann Lambeth. She retired from Vulcan Materials Company, after a 26 year tenure, in 2019. She strongly and courageously battled Alzheimer's with dementia since 2021. She led a loving life filled with purpose and grace with an unwavering loyalty to family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Charles Michael (Mike) Lambeth and her sister, Joyce Ann Lambeth.

Tanny is survived by her two children; son and daughter-in-law, Clint and Mysti Bunn, of Alvin, Texas; daughter, Amanda Bunn, of Friendswood, Texas; bonus daughter and son-in-law, Mirhyssa and George Moreno, of Bacliff, Texas; four beautiful granddaughters Alexus Bunn, Ashley Bunn, Sophia Lopez and Ysabelle Lopez; sister and sister-in-law, Marsha Lambeth and Lorraine Horton, of Houston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Cindy Lambeth, of Alvin, Texas; sister-in-law, Denise Lambeth, of Cloquet, MN and and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, family-friends and loved ones. Honorable mentions to the actual angels on Earth, her last caregivers, Yvonne Bradley, Sasha Weiskopf-Davila, and Karina Tenorio for whom the family are forever indebted to the kindess, love and dignity they bestowed upon our Mama in her final days

A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral will be held at 10:00am, Friday, December 19th, 2025 at Scotts Funeral Home at 1421 E Hwy 6, Alvin, Texas. A graveside service will be performed immediately after the service at Confederate Cemetery.

Tanny was a wonderful mother, granny, nana, sister and friend to countless people who were lucky enough to know her. While she became lost in her later years, she will always be remembered for her sharp mind, witty sense of humor and her unconditionally kind and loving soul. May we rejoice in the comfort that she is no longer lost, but found as an angel with our Lord and Savior-we will one day reunite with her.

If you wish to honor her memory, we ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association so that we may be able to find a cure one day so that no one ever has to suffer the pain of this most horrible disease.
