Tanya Michele Plunk, age 53, of Adamsville, Tennessee, passed away at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital on Monday afternoon, January 15, 2024. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 19, 1970, the daughter of Daisy "Blue-eyes" Plunk and the late Carl Wayne Plunk. Tanya attended Adamsville Elementary School and Adamsville Jr/Sr High School, where she graduated in 1989.
Tanya was a big NASCAR race fan. She could sit and watch the races for hours. She was one of Jeff Gordon's biggest fans. She collected all types of the #24 car and Jeff Gordon memorabilia. She was also an avid General Hospital watcher. Tanya loved horseback riding and all animals.
Tanya was preceded in death by her father, Carl Wayne Plunk and her grandparents, Jake and Daisy Kelley and Fred and Zellma Plunk.
She is survived by her mother, Blue-eyes; daughter, Christin Bearden and her husband Joey of Savannah, Tennessee; brother, Anthony Plunk and his wife Christie of Adamsville, Tennessee; niece, Payten Plunk of San Diego, California; nephew, Carson Plunk of Adamsville, Tennessee; and numerous cousins.
