Tari Marie "Hoskins" Ryckaert

Tari Marie (Hoskins) Ryckaert, 69, of Graham died peacefully on February 20, 2026. She was born in Rochester, New York in 1957, a daughter of the late Donald and Carol (Smith) Hoskins.

She spent her early years in Rochester, NY, and graduated from John Marshall High School. She married but later divorced and moved to the Durham area to be closer to other family members, including her mother, who had re-married and relocated to the area.

She was a retired medical records clerk and was preceded in death by her father, Donald Robert Hoskins, her mother, Carol Delane Bishop, her step-father, James Richard Bishop and a sister, Denise Delane Sherwood.

When not working, Tari enjoyed browsing antique and thrift stores, watching documentaries and enjoying a mocha-latte with friends at Press Coffee in Graham.

She is survived by her brother, Donald Edward Hoskins and wife, Rosalyn Denise Hoskins, of Raleigh, a sister, Marla Ann Hoskins, of Elbridge, NY, and a brother-in-law, Ken Sherwood, of Mebane, plus several nieces and nephews.

Tari's siblings wish to thank the staff at AuthoraCare Hospice in Burlington, NC, for the comfort and care they provided to their beloved sister in her final days. May she rest in peace.
