It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tayler Michelle Jordan, of Salem, Arkansas, who departed this life far too soon on June 29, 2025, at the age of 20.
Born on September 27, 2004, Tayler was a bright light in the lives of all who knew her. She graduated from Salem High School in 2023, where she was known not only for her academic efforts but also her spirit, kindness, and determination. She had obtained the title of CNA before ever graduating high school.
Tayler proudly held the title of Miss Fulton County, a reflection of her poise, confidence, and the love she carried for her community. She approached life with grace and optimism, always striving to uplift those around her.
Her absence leaves a profound void, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her parents, Misty Polston of Elizabeth, Arkansas, Steven Kelly, Jr of Bald Knob, Arkansas, and Theresa Holich of Salem, Arkansas; three brothers, Austin Polston (Hope) of Mountain View, Missouri, Chris Ortiz (Kymberlinn) of Salem, Arkansas, and Nicholas Ortiz of Salem, Arkansas; three sisters, Savanna Polston of Salem, Arkansas, Julisa Anorve of Elizabeth, Arkansas, and Alyssa Ortiz of Salem, Arkansas; grandparents, Wayne Polston (Cindy) of Searcy, Arkansas; aunt, Faith White of Salem, Arkansas; cousins, Charlotte Davasher of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Shay Davasher of Denver, Colorado, and Hunter Davasher of Mena, Arkansas; many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday July 2, 2025, at Strangers Home Cemetery in Alicia, Arkansas. Visitation will be 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Austin Polston, Wesley Bensinger, Nicholas Ortiz, Jason Risenhoover, Chris Ortiz, and Caiden Beeson. Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Springstun, Shane Dailey, and Heath Gaines. Arrangements are under the direction of Barker Funeral Home in Salem, Arkansas.
