Taylor Ann Curtis, age 29, of Middletown, DE passed away on December 18th, 2024. Born in Newark, Delaware, Taylor was the daughter of Marybeth (Mozer) and the late Darrell Curtis. Taylor spent her career working in accounting in the construction industry. She absolutely loved being near the water, whether at the beach or by the canal. She was beloved by her close friends, having named her the prom queen during her senior year of high school, graduating with honors from Hodgson Vo Tech. She was actively pursuing her bachelors degree from Wilmington University. Taylor was actively involved in the Delaware chapter of the Alzheimer's Association in honor of her late father's illness. Most importantly, Taylor enjoyed spending time with her daughter, Kinsley, and her nieces and nephews. She cherished the family time that they spent together and will be dearly missed by those closest to her.
Taylor leaves behind to treasure her memory, her daughter, Kinsley Rae; her mother, Marybeth Curtis; her siblings, Kyle Curtis (Jennifer) and Ashley Hennings (Garrett); and her nieces and nephews, Cameron, Conner, Mason, and Paisleigh. Taylor is predeceased by her father, Darrell Curtis; her maternal grandparents, Helen and Howard Mozer; and her paternal grandparents, Zelma Piel and C. Bane Curtis.
A visitation will be held at the Mealey Funeral Home, 2509 Limestone Road Wilmington, DE 19808 on Friday December 27th from 10 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. with funeral services to begin at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Head of Christiana, Newark, DE. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 399 Market St., Suite 250 Philadelphia, PA 19106 in memory of Taylor's father and her commitment to the cause.
