Taylor Dawn Steele, born in Mesa, Arizona, on November 8, 1994, passed away on October 5, 2023. From the moment she came into this world, Taylor was ready to take on life and all it had to offer. Her beautiful smile, contagious laughter, and witty jokes were a testament to her enormous sense of humor and creativity.
Taylor had a boundless love for animals; every creature, big or small, found a special place in her heart. She shared her life with numerous beloved pets, each of them a testament to her deep compassion and caring nature.
In addition to her love for animals, Taylor had a profound affection for babies and children. She was in awe of the little ones, finding endless joy in their laughter and innocence. Her nurturing spirit and natural ability to connect with kids left a lasting impact on every child she encountered.
Taylor's diverse interests and talents were reflected in her love for the arts, including performing arts, drama, and media. She refused to limit herself to one passion, exploring every avenue of creativity that life had to offer.
In her high school years, Taylor was a force to be reckoned with. She wrestled with determination, played softball with grace, danced with all her heart, dazzling everyone with her skills and enthusiasm.
Taylor's upbringing was diverse, encompassing the beautiful deserts of Arizona, the pine forests of Northern California, and the tropical volcanic landscapes and oceans of Hawai'i. These varied environments provided her with unique experiences and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature.
As the first in our family to achieve a bachelor's degree from Arizona State University, she exemplified dedication and determination. Taylor's true calling was found in the realm of Behavioral Sciences. She dedicated her life to supporting children with Autism and ADHD, making a profound impact on their lives. Later, she extended her compassion to counseling and supporting first responders dealing with trauma, embodying the true essence of empathy and care.
Taylor leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, boundless creativity, and a deep connection with the world around her. She is survived by her Mother Tammy and her Husband Mike Bonfili, Father Donald and Wife Heidi Steele, Brother and Best Friend Dylan Steele, Taylor's beloved Boyfriend, Zach Grombacher and Family, her Paternal Grandfather Donald Ken Steele Sr., and Maternal Grandmother Joyce Chesser, Maternal Great Great Grandmother Charlette Clay, Aunt's and Uncle's Christy and Jay White, Cindy and Husband Bart Tschacher, Kevin and Wife Cindy Steele, as well as her Cousins Eddie Becerra and Bernice, Brenden and Misty Crumbley, Justin Arthur, Nicholas and Gary Tschacher, Beloved Extended Family and all her Closest Beloved Friends and Relatives.
She is preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents Brenda and David Chesser and Paternal Grandmother Linda Steele.
A memorial service to celebrate Taylor's life will be held on Friday, November 3rd 10:30 am at Lost Dutchman State Park; 6109 N Apache Trail, Apache Junction, Arizona 85119 (Palo Verde Ramada). Park entrance fee of $10.00 per vehicle maximum four occupants.
Taylor will be remembered for her adventurous soul, her compassionate heart, and her dedication to making the world a better place. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
