Ted Andrew Adam, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away unexpectedly on September 15, 2025. He was born on February 13, 1966, in Beech Grove, Indiana, to the late Victor F. and Phyllis A. (Eacret) Adam.
A 1984 graduate of Beech Grove High School, Ted went on to earn an associate degree from Tampa Bay University. He was employed as an accountant with Tom O'Brien Automotive Sales for the past three years, where he was respected for his diligence, professionalism, and quiet integrity.
Ted found his greatest joy in spending time with his family. He cherished family gatherings and was happiest when surrounded by those he loved. An avid reader and lifelong music enthusiast, Ted enjoyed attending concerts, golfing, bowling, and watching football-especially cheering on his beloved Indianapolis Colts.
Although Ted did not have a formal church affiliation, he possessed a deep reverence for spiritual truths and often quoted scripture with heartfelt sincerity. His quiet wisdom and unwavering faith left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
Ted leaves behind to treasure his memory his loving daughter, Amber (Angela) Adam; siblings, Larry (Pat) Adam, Teena Adam, Diana (Kevin) O'Brian, Vicki Sturgeon, Linda Chamberlain, and Jeff (Gina) Adam; three cherished grandchildren, Madelyn, Michael and Nolan; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2025, at G. H. Herrmann Funeral and Cremation Center, 5141 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis. Family and friends are invited to gather from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions in Ted's name may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association or the
American Heart Association, causes close to the hearts of those who loved him.
Ted will be remembered for his kindness, humility, and the deep love he shared with his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
