Ted Christopher Alligood, age 59, adored son of Dorothy Alligood and James Alligood, Loving father of his daughter Amy Pruitt, passed away late Thursday, April 10, 2025 at Atlanta Piedmont Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with fast spreading bone cancer and suffering a stroke.
He was surrounded with love from his family including his brothers, Tab Alligood and Todd Alligood and sisters-in-law, Kristy Alligood and Janette Alligood.
Ted was born in Bunker Hill, Indiana on April 6, 1966, and raised to be a kind hearted, caring and loving man, always offering a helping hand, which he incorporated into fatherhood.
He moved to Woodstock, Georgia, working over 10 years at Advance Auto Parts. Ted loved his job as a manager and made many long lasting friendships with his coworkers and customers.
WhenTed was not there bringing laughter and warmth, he was spending time with his closest friends and neighbors, Matt Windsor, Tracey Reppert, Renee Lawson, Dale Kauffman and Ruby Kauffman.
Ted had a deep admiration for cars buying, selling and trading, often for his next project.
He will be missed greatly by his niece Brittany Howell and for his extraordinary talent of making over the top Halloween decorations for his three nephews Coleman Alligood, Tanner Alligood and Hunter Alligood.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Canton Funeral Home at 10655 East Cherokee Drive; Canton, GA. from 11am to 2pm.
